Hi,

I hope this can be directed to Mr. McDermott.

I have just completed reading this wonderful book.  As a volunteer at the Wildlife Waystation in the Los Angeles, California area, I have been exposed to and interacted with several tigers.  I have cleaned cages, done enrichment and been able to walk with tigers that are used for education.  Those tigers have been worked with since they were cubs.

This book is wonderful.  The depiction of the tiger and her antics as well as her interactions with the people is totally believable and indeed, I have experienced some of the same interactions.  Special fun is giving tigers showers with hoses, watching them play with water, with each other, and with "toys" like boomer balls.

I don't believe I have ever enjoyed a book more then this one.

Thank you for writing it.

Sincerely,
Lin Tanenbaum
